When Will the Heavy Rains and Hail Continue? Upcoming Weather Forecast

From July 19-20, and during the night of the 21st, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected across significant parts of various regions in the Republic of Armenia, with heavy rainfall and possible hail in some areas on the 18th-20th and the night of the 21st. This information was provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will be northeastern at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts during thunderstorms reaching 20-25 m/s. In the evening hours, wind intensification is expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragats, with speeds of 18-23 m/s.

The daytime temperatures will drop by 5-7 degrees Celsius from July 18-20. In Yerevan, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are also anticipated on July 19-20 and during the night of the 21st, with heavy rainfall expected in certain areas of the city. From July 21-23, there might be short-term rain and thunderstorms in some areas of the city during the evening hours. Wind intensification is also expected during thunderstorms and in the evening, with speeds of 18-23 m/s.

On July 19, daytime temperatures in the capital will range between 28-30 degrees Celsius, while evening temperatures are projected to be around +22...+24 degrees Celsius.
