Biden Reveals the Only Reason He Might Withdraw from Presidential Race

U.S. President Joe Biden has stated that he might withdraw from the 2024 presidential election if he is diagnosed with a serious illness. He made this remark during an interview with Black Entertainment Television.

“If I were to be diagnosed with some illness, if someone, the doctors, came in and said, ‘You have this problem,’” Biden said (citing Fox News).

The 81-year-old president believes that “the only thing that age brings is a little wisdom.” Biden is confident that during his tenure in the White House, he has shown he knows how to enhance the country's well-being. “But there is still a lot to do, and I don’t want to walk away from that,” says the American leader.

Thoughts about replacing the presidential candidate in the Democratic Party have arisen after Biden's debates with his main challenger Donald Trump in the upcoming elections. However, the current occupant of the White House is not in a hurry to retire and has declared himself ready for a new race.

On July 6, Biden indicated that he would only refrain from running if “the Almighty came down from heaven and commanded it.”
