England national team and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham may miss the start of the 2024/2025 season due to shoulder surgery. This information was reported by Madrid Zone, citing The Athletic.

According to the source, the leadership of Real Madrid understands that the midfielder will require surgical intervention, which he had avoided last season to not miss important matches for the Madrid team and to participate in the UEFA Euro 2024.

It is noted that Bellingham's recovery period after the surgery is expected to last from two to three months.

Bellingham has been playing for Real since the summer of 2023. Previously, the English midfielder represented Borussia Dortmund. In his debut season with 'Los Blancos', he recorded 23 goals and 13 assists in 42 matches.

During Euro 2024, the player started in all seven matches for the England national team, contributing two goals and one assist.
