Republicans Promise Largest Relocation of Migrants in U.S. History
The Republican Party has promised to implement the largest relocation of migrants in U.S. history in its platform announced on Monday.
“We pledge to halt the crime epidemic among migrants, eradicate foreign drug cartels, crack down on gang violence, and imprison criminals. We promise to deport radicals who support Hamas and to make our college campuses safe and patriotic again,” reads one of the 20 commitments Republicans are vowing to uphold when they “take back the White House” and gain majorities in both chambers of the U.S. Congress.
There are also promises regarding “cutting federal funding for schools that promote radical gender ideology,” “not allowing men in women’s sports,” “uniting the country,” “ensuring election security,” and “ending inflation.” However, none of these commitments are backed by a clear plan of action.
The U.S. Republican Party platform is a collection of core principles, goals, and policy positions that the party intends to pursue. Typically, the document is updated every four years to reflect current priorities and shifts in public opinion.
