Major Accident on Yerevan-Gyumri Highway: One Injured

Today, on July 16, an accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. At around 5:30 AM, on the 22 km section of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, a collision took place between a "Chrysler" driven by 26-year-old Narek Marukyan from Lori Province and a "ZIL" truck driven by 56-year-old Razmik Arshakyan from Aragatsotn Province.

According to a photojournalist report, as a result of the crash, N. Marukyan sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the Armenia Medical Center. The emergency medical team from the Ashtarak Medical Center acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured on-site before their transfer to the hospital.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the accident.
