VIDEO: Armenian-American Joint Military Exercises Held in Armenia

On July 15, at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, the launch of the Armenian-American joint military exercise "Eagle Partner 2024" was announced. The opening ceremony of the exercise was attended by Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Quinn, among others.

The state anthems of Armenia and the United States were played, as well as the anthem of the "Eagle Partner" exercise. A welcome speech was delivered to the servicemen involved in the exercise by Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan and Ambassador Kristina Quinn.

In his speech, Minister Suren Papikyan specifically noted, "I greatly appreciate the participation of the U.S. ground forces from Europe and Africa in the preparation process of this exercise, as well as the Kansas National Guard, which has been a partner of Armenia for over 20 years, the servicemen of the Armenian peacekeeping brigade, the representatives of the U.S. Embassy, and the personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for their efforts in the effective planning of the exercise. I highly value this collaboration aimed at increasing the interoperability level of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations."
