Video Captures Moment of Shooter's Elimination After Attempt on Trump's Life

Video cameras have documented the moment a shooter who attempted to assassinate former US President Donald Trump was eliminated. The assassination attempt occurred during a rally in Pennsylvania, and the incident was broadcasted on local television stations.

During his speech in Butler, the political figure's address to supporters lasted only a few minutes before it was unexpectedly interrupted while he was discussing illegal immigration issues. Suddenly, gunfire erupted, causing Trump to silence, put his hand to his ear, and fall near the podium. Secret Service agents quickly surrounded him.

Several minutes later, when Trump reappeared in front of cameras, Secret Service members were seen escorting the former president off the stage, with blood visible on his right ear. According to press secretary Stephen Chuni, Trump underwent medical examination at one of the hospitals in Pennsylvania. Later, Trump reported that he had suffered an injury to his ear and lost a significant amount of blood.

According to BNO News, the former president has already been discharged from the medical facility. He plans to attend the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin.

The Secret Service has eliminated the shooter. As a result of the incident, one member of the audience at the rally was killed, and two others were seriously injured. A firearm was discovered at the scene, according to the Associated Press.

President Biden stated that he is praying for Trump's recovery but currently lacks sufficient evidence to label the event as an assassination attempt against the political figure. Later, the US president spoke with his predecessor via phone.

The FBI has assumed the role of the lead agency in investigating the shooting during Trump's rally. It has already identified the suspect, a 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania. Special Agent Kevin Rogers stated that the shooting at Trump's rally is being evaluated as an assassination attempt on his life.

According to the New York Post, the identity of the shooter attempting to kill the former president has been revealed as Thomas Matthew Crooks, who is 20 years old. The United States House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability has launched an investigation into the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, with hearings scheduled for July 22.
