Firefighters Discover Charred Body of 85-Year-Old Woman in Tavush

Today, July 13, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region. At around 18:30, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting a house fire near the customs office at the Ayrum station.

According to Shamshyan.com, the area was cordoned off by patrol officers, and firefighters initially prevented the spread of the flames before containing the fire.

After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters discovered the body of 85-year-old Lusik D., a resident of the Tavush region, in a charred state at a house located at 21 Railway Street.

A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of Noyemberyan. A forensic examination of the body has been ordered by the investigator. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
