Hamas Issues Statement Following Israeli Strikes on Al-Mawasi Region

Israeli authorities' statements regarding the strikes in the Al-Mawasi area near Khan Younis in southern Gaza, aimed at eliminating leaders of the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, serve to justify their actions and attempt to conceal the scale of the tragedy. This is stated in a declaration by the radical movement, published on Hamas's Telegram channel.

"The claims by Israeli authorities about the attack on Palestinian leaders in Khan Younis are false," the statement reads. According to Hamas, these false accusations are merely designed to obscure the extent of the tragedy in Al-Mawasi.

According to recent data from the Gaza Ministry of Health, over 70 people have died and nearly 300 have been injured as a result of the Israeli strikes directed at the Al-Mawasi area near Khan Younis.
