Train from Paris Stopped, 1200 Evacuated: What is the Reason?
Paris — The next train on the Paris-Nantes route was stopped due to complaints from ten passengers about feeling unwell. A total of 1200 people have been evacuated, reports Le Parisien.
The train was halted in the commune of Sablé after reports emerged of a strong and unpleasant odor coming from one of the train's restrooms. Firefighters and gendarmes arrived at the scene. Experts conducted analyses and found no harmful substances that could have caused poisoning.
“After the checks, passengers will be able to return to the train to continue their journey,” the publication emphasized.
Passengers were temporarily housed in Sablé's city building and were prohibited from leaving. “We are not allowed to go outside. They fear delayed poisoning if gas escapes from the train's windows,” mentioned a man.
