Parents Force Their 6-Year-Old Daughter into Drug Trafficking in Thailand
A man in Thailand has turned to local social workers after rescuing a 6-year-old girl from her drug-addicted parents, according to The Taiger.
The resident of Suphan Buri province sought help from a well-known activist in the country to facilitate the girl's rescue after witnessing family members using drugs and forcing her to distribute them throughout the neighborhood.
It is known that the family's home was located not far from a police station, yet law enforcement seemingly overlooked the situation.
The man, who had long been acquainted with the family, decided to take action when the girl revealed that her mother often hit her. It was later found that drugs were used by the girl's mother, stepfather, and grandparents right in front of her.
Subsequently, the man discovered that the girl was taking packets of drugs from home and distributing them to other addicts living nearby.
Authorities initially rejected his attempts to help the child and escorted him away. According to him, a major drug dealer had been supplying substances to local addicts through the girl's family, which the police were already aware of.
The activist whom the Thai citizen approached came to Suphan Buri on July 10. Following his intervention, the police initiated an investigation and arrested three drug dealers.
