On July 8, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 21:05, the police department of Artashat received operational information indicating that 18-year-old Laura T. from the Ararat region was taken to the Artashat Medical Center with a diagnosis of a "broken right ankle and foot" after falling from an elevator in her home, reports Shamshyan.com.

On the same day, around 22:00, additional operational information was received that 43-year-old Rima I. from the Ararat region was transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center with a diagnosis of "open fractures of both lower limbs." Furthermore, at around 22:30, it was reported that as a result of the elevator cable breaking, 1.5-year-old M. T. was taken for medical assistance to the Holy Mother of God Medical Center.

The police clarified that on the same day at approximately 20:05, Rima I. and her daughters Laura T. and M. T. fell to the ground while descending from the second floor to the first floor using a homemade elevator located in the drying room of their house, causing the aforementioned injuries due to the breaking of the elevator cable. Documentation regarding the incident has been prepared by the Artashat police department and forwarded to the Investigative Committee's Ararat regional investigative department.
