Earthquake in Iran: What is Known
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale has been recorded in southern Iran. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to their data, the epicenter of the underground tremors was located 130 kilometers northeast of the city of Sirjan, which has a population of 207,000. The focus of the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There are no reports of casualties or damages at this time.
