“If these people are baking Jengyalov bread here, they have come to help – baking Jengyalov bread is no big deal,” said Gagik Melkonyan, an MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, during a broadcast on 24news.

While discussing Armenia-U.S. relations, he referenced Samantha Power, the head of the U.S. Agency for International Development, who recently prepared Jengyalov bread with women from Artsakh in Yerevan.

“It’s a secret I’m not disclosing; you will see the results of the Jengyalov bread later. The U.S. doesn’t announce everything, but it will do anything necessary; it is not a weak state to play a ‘nein-nein’ game with Azerbaijan. It knows how to punish and everything; they will force Azerbaijan to sign a peace agreement,” Melkonyan stated.
