VIDEO: The boys are alive, in the hands of Azerbaijanis, we don’t know how they are, no one is dealing with this issue

On September 23, 2023, an explosion at a gas station on the Stepanakert-Askeran road led to the disappearance of 21 boys who are alive and in the hands of Azerbaijanis. This was stated by one of the participants during a protest rally in front of the government building.

“We are asking and demanding from the authorities to provide any information about our relatives. We have approached various organizations - the UN, the EU, the RA Human Rights Defender, the authorities of Artsakh, the Russian Embassy in Armenia, and the Red Cross, and we have not received any positive or negative response from anywhere. It seems that no one wants to address this issue; everyone is indifferent to the fact that there are missing persons,” the participant said.

The protester informed that a call had been registered from Shushi on October 7. “One of the missing, Karen, called his girlfriend, and she reported this fact to the Red Cross, the NSS, and Karen's parents that he had called. As of today, there is no information regarding this call. To this day, Karen's mother's phone is with the NSS; some work is being done, but they do not want to disclose the call,” he stated.

He also mentioned that they have received calls from foreign phone numbers via various Telegram channels. “We have appealed to the relevant authorities, but we have no information, no news. We demand that they provide information about our relatives because we are confident that our boys are all alive, our boys are currently in the hands of Azerbaijanis, and we demand that they find and bring them back. We don’t know how they are being treated,” the Artsakh resident emphasized.
