Meetings Planned in Armenia as the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State's Agenda

The U.S. Embassy welcomes U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, Azra Zeya, who will be in Armenia from July 13 to 16. Deputy Secretary Zeya is set to meet with senior government officials to discuss strengthening U.S.-Armenia cooperation and advancing Armenia's democratic achievements in areas such as the rule of law, the fight against corruption, and judicial reforms.

Additionally, she will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial to honor the victims and engage in discussions with civil society regarding the strengthening of human rights, combating corruption, and ensuring press freedom.
