A Movement Against European Integration has Been Established in Georgia
A new civic-political movement called "United Neutral Georgia" has been introduced in Georgia, opposing the country's European integration and its entry into NATO. This was reported by TASS.
“Today, European integration in Georgia has been declared a religion, which is a crime against the Georgian people. The authorities share the blame for this guilt. Although NATO does not yet have religious status, it is the fault of the authorities that they have made integration with NATO a constitutional issue,” said the movement's leader, Vato Shakarashvili.
He emphasized that turning integration with the North Atlantic Alliance into a constitutional dogma is unacceptable. According to Shakarashvili, they plan to transform the civic movement into a political party within a year, which will participate in the 2028 parliamentary elections.
