A Former NSS Employee Stabbed in Nor Hajn: His Identity Revealed

Shamshyan.com has reported that on July 6, a stabbing incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Blood-like traces and a knife were discovered in one of the apartments on the fourth floor of a building on Charents Street. Before the police and patrol officers arrived at the scene, the Abovyan Medical Center notified the police department in Nairi that a citizen had been transferred to them in critical condition due to a stabbing.

The police and patrol officers at the scene determined that the injured citizen had been transferred to the hospital from the specified address, and he is 64-year-old Vahan H., a resident of Nor Hajn, who, according to information received by ArmLur.am, is a former employee of the National Security Service (NSS).

The assailant is 31-year-old Harutyun D., a resident of Nor Hajn, who is registered with the “ArmMed” psychiatric and narcological registry. Incidentally, when the police attempted to arrest him, he resisted and struck one of the officers. Nevertheless, he was successfully apprehended and, by court decision, is now in custody.
