Stabbing in Yerevan: Young Man Discharged from Army Hospitalized, Fighting for His Life

At around 12:35 PM, a citizen was brought to the "Erebuni" medical center with critically severe injuries.

According to a photojournalist, police have clarified that the injured individual was transferred to the hospital with "left side incised, stabbed" wounds, diagnosed near 66 Araratyan Street.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Shengavit Investigative Division regarding the incident. According to the photojournalist's information, the Shengavit police discovered the circumstances of the incident, determining that the dispute occurred on Araratyan Street in the Shengavit administrative district. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Gagik G., had been recently discharged from military service and was participating in festivities with fellow soldiers when the brawl broke out, escalating outside where he was stabbed multiple times.

Police and the investigative division are taking necessary steps to clarify the circumstances of the case, identify the participants, and locate those involved along with the weapon used in the crime.
