Video: Clash Between Residents and Police at Address 12 Freedom Square, Tension Escalates

A protest and scuffle broke out in Yerevan as residents at 12 Freedom Square expressed their discontent over plans to construct a clinic in their neighborhood.

We previously reported that construction is taking place at 12/1 Freedom Boulevard, which has sparked the outrage of local residents. In response to the residents' protest, police intervened and detained a male participant in the demonstration.
