Bus Driver Slams Brakes, Passenger Falls and Sustains Fractures; Undergoes Surgery

Last week, a total of 3,538 passengers were served on Yerevan's Route 67, as opposed to the planned 3,937, resulting in a shortfall of 10.1 percent. This was mentioned during the regular operational meeting at the Yerevan City Hall today.

There were 25 accidents reported, one of which involved a personal injury. The driver braked sharply to avoid an emergency situation, causing a passenger to fall and sustain fractures to the spine and shoulder. The injured individual has undergone surgery and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today or tomorrow.
