Belarus has invited Armenia to participate in a parade to be held in Minsk, but for "unexplained reasons, the personnel for this country's parade did not arrive," said Alexander Wolfovich, Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus.
He stated, “Despite the fact that the ancestors of the Armenian people participated in the liberation of Belarus and the Soviet Union, they also took part in the Great Patriotic War.”
The Independence Day parade in Minsk featured military personnel from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
