Armenia is an Ally of Russia: Ovechuk

Armenia is an ally of Russia, stated Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovechuk. This information was reported by "АиФ".

"We proceed from the fact that Armenia is our ally. We have very important economic relations. The trade turnover with Armenia amounts to 7.3 billion dollars. Moreover, looking at the statistics, the turnover has doubled from last year's figures from January to April. The rates are very good, and the economy is developing very well," said the deputy prime minister.

According to him, Armenia is very active within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. "This year, Armenia is holding the presidency in the EAEU, and Armenia's contribution is very constructive," Ovechuk emphasized.
