19 Turkish Football Fans Arrested in Germany

Nineteen individuals have been detained after thousands of Turkish fans took to the streets of Germany to celebrate their national team's advancement to the quarter-finals of the EURO 2024 tournament. This was reported by the Daily Mail.

According to sources, the Turkish fans released fireworks towards the police, resulting in one officer sustaining injuries.

It is worth noting that the Turkish national team defeated Austria 2-1 in the Round of 16 of the European Championship, securing a spot in the quarter-finals, where they will face the Netherlands on July 6.
