The European Youth Boxing Championship is currently taking place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Armenia now boasts two champions. In the 48 kg weight category, Simon Simonian delivered a skilled performance by defeating the Azerbaijani Nihad Ghasimov and reaching the top step of the podium.

Hamesh Afrikyan also celebrated a victory in the 48 kg category, overcoming the Italian representative Giorgia La Rossa.
