VIDEO: Severe Storm in St. Petersburg Results in Fatalities
A severe storm in St. Petersburg, Russia, has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left one person injured, as reported by the Izvestia newspaper.
In various parts of the city, trees have fallen, causing the fatalities of a 36-year-old woman and an 11-year-old child. The child was hospitalized in critical condition with a diagnosis of brain contusion, multiple skull fractures, and other life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, the child's life could not be saved.
Additionally, ten cars were damaged, and a construction crane collapsed due to the storm. Reports indicate that the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 67 calls regarding fallen trees and 4 calls concerning the collapse of poorly secured metal structures.
