Identities of 2 Armenian Soldiers Transferred by Azerbaijan Identified

The identities of two soldiers whose whereabouts were unknown due to the September 2022 aggression have been clarified. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

“We have already informed that forensic and genetic examinations have been appointed within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated in the military investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee due to the aggressive war unleashed against Armenia on September 13-14, 2022, for the purpose of identifying the remains of two Armenian soldiers transferred to Armenia by Azerbaijan. The conclusions of the examinations have been obtained, and as a result, the identities of the two soldiers of the RA Armed Forces, whose whereabouts had been unknown due to the September 2022 aggressive war, have been clarified,” the statement said.

According to the Investigative Committee, there are no longer any unidentified individuals due to the September 2022 aggression.
