Hail Expected, Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Upcoming Days
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on July 2-3, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in many regions, with hail anticipated in some areas on July 6 after noon. This has been reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas on July 2, while dry weather will prevail on July 4-5. The wind will be from the northeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected during thunderstorms at 19-24 m/s.
The air temperature will gradually rise by 5-7 degrees on July 3-5, and by 10-12 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik.
In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected on July 2-3, with heavy rainfall in some areas on July 2. Wind gusts of 18-23 m/s are also anticipated during thunderstorms. From July 4-6, dry weather is expected.
During the day on July 2, temperatures in the capital will range from 26 to 28 degrees, dropping to +19 to +21 degrees in the evening hours.
