Soldier Collides with Parked Vehicle in Gegharkunik Region

A serious road accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region on June 30. Around 14:50, 18-year-old Davit T., a resident of the Gegharkunik region, lost control of the Mercedes vehicle he was driving on a rural road in Astghadzor and crashed into a parked Mercedes Sprinter.

According to Shamshyan.com, both vehicles overturned as a result of the collision, and Davit T. was taken to Martuni Medical Center with bodily injuries. In connection with the incident, a criminal investigation has been initiated, and it may be transferred to the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Reportedly, the injured individual serves as a conscript soldier in the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
