Ivanishvili Allocates $10.6 Million to the Georgian National Football Team

The ruling "Georgian Dream" party has congratulated the country’s national football team on their victory against Portugal in the European Championship, on behalf of the party’s founder, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili. It has been announced that Ivanishvili's charitable foundation will allocate 30 million Georgian Lari (approximately $10.6 million) as a bonus for the team.

Ivanishvili has also promised an additional 30 million Lari if the team wins against Spain in the Round of 16 and advances to the next stage.

Let us recall that just yesterday, the Georgian team achieved a sensational 2-0 victory over the Portugal team, led by Ronaldo, and will continue to compete among the 16 teams in the European Championship.
