With Great Enthusiasm, Armenia Opened an Embassy in Israel in 2020, Now They Are Trying to Undermine Relations with Equal Zeal: "Hayjoul"
"Hayjoul" daily reports: "The government of Nikol Pashinyan opened an embassy in Israel with great pomp and enthusiasm in 2020 and established diplomatic relations with that country; now they are trying, with the same zeal, to undermine relations with Israel.
Against the backdrop of the highly tense Israeli-Palestinian relations, Armenia recently announced that it recognizes the state of Palestine. Following this, the Israeli Foreign Ministry summoned Armenian Ambassador Arman Hakobyan to express its strong discontent, while the office of the Israeli Prime Minister officially stated that the decision to recognize Palestinian statehood would have a negative impact on Armenian-Israeli relations.
According to "Hayjoul", an event dedicated to Israel's Independence Day was to take place yesterday in Yerevan, specifically at the Marriott hotel, which was also attended by high-ranking government officials. However, unexpectedly, the event was canceled.
It is noteworthy that just days ago, Nikol Pashinyan created a scandal with Belarus as well, announcing that neither he nor any other official from Armenia would visit Belarus as long as the country's president, Alexander Lukashenko, is in power.
Considering all of this, we can state that the government of Nikol Pashinyan, while trying to normalize relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan at any cost, is also engaged in the task of ruining relations with other countries."
