Robertas Kočaryan's Foundation Ceases Operations
The newspaper "Joghovourd" reports: "For many years, the charitable foundation named after Valeri Kočaryan, operational in Armenia, recorded zero financial movement throughout 2023, meaning it has not been active.
"Joghovourd" contacted Irina Kočaryan, a member of the board of trustees of the "Valeri Kočaryan" charitable foundation and daughter of Valeri Kočaryan, who confirmed the fact that the foundation is no longer operational.
"The foundation existed for more than 20 years and was established by me after my father's death. It operated using personal funds, without the involvement of other foundations or organizations. In recent years, my health has severely deteriorated, which has affected both my quality of life and, accordingly, my work. For this reason, I had to suspend the foundation's activities," said Irina Kočaryan in an interview with "Joghovourd."
"Joghovourd" also learned that the "Galatea" medical center, owned by Irina Kočaryan, has ceased operations, to which Irina Kočaryan responded affirmatively again. "It is not operational now, but I hope it’s temporary."
