In the semifinals, Marat faced Azerbaijani wrestler Nijat Isgandarli, who had previously celebrated two victories leading up to this match. Ajemyan showed great confidence throughout the bout, achieving a clear victory with a score of 8-0 just 1 minute and 23 seconds before the final whistle. He will compete for the gold medal tomorrow.
