The French Football Federation has released a statement regarding forward Kylian Mbappé's injury sustained during the Euro 2024 match against Austria.
Kylian Mbappé fractured his nose during the second half of the Austria vs. France match held on Monday in Düsseldorf. The captain of the French national team received initial medical assistance from the medical staff and Dr. Franck Le Gall, who diagnosed him with a nasal fracture.
"Mbappé will undergo treatment in the coming days but will not have surgery in the near future. A mask will be prepared for him so he can prepare for his return to competitions after treatment," the federation's statement quoted journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media.
The next match for the French national team will be against the Netherlands. It is worth noting that it was previously reported that Mbappé fractured his nose during the Euro 2024 France vs. Austria game.
