Issues Arisen with NSS Director, Deputy Prime Ministers, and Head of the Prime Minister's Office: Vahan Kerobyan
The employees of the Ministry of Economy have worked both honestly and without corruption. They have endeavored to ensure that the software purchased by the state is of high quality. This was stated by former Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan in an interview with Factor TV, where he provided some details regarding the criminal proceedings against him and the charges brought against him.
Kerobyan clarified that law enforcement agencies accuse him of abuse of office, but they did not find any signs of corruption or transactions. "Their attempts in that direction have not succeeded. The materials of the case prove the opposite, that everyone worked in the interest of the state," he said.
When asked whether the NSS had reasons to initiate a criminal case around the agency he led, Kerobyan responded: "I have been principled in my work; I have not given in in places where it would mean stepping back from my principles, which has led to me not having good relations with various officials, and expecting good treatment from them."
Kerobyan also detailed the problems he faced with the NSS director and deputy prime ministers. "I have been principled in my work; I have not given in in places where it would mean stepping back from my principles, which has led to me not having good relations with various officials, including the NSS director. In several episodes, I did not fulfill Armen Abazyan's requests. The requests were related to appointing someone to a position somewhere. There have been problems not only with him, but also with deputy prime ministers, the head of the Prime Minister's office, and others," he stated.
