Summer Draft for 2024 Kicks Off

Today, the summer draft for 2024 has officially commenced in the Ararat region. Accompanying the new draftees were Deputy Governor Vladimir Khachatryan, Artashat community leader Karlen Mkrtchyan, representatives of the region's law enforcement agencies, and others.
Deputy Governor Vladimir Khachatryan urged the departing young men to set out with high spirits to defend their homeland, wishing them a peaceful and safe service.
“Dear boys, serving the homeland is always a matter of honor and glory. Be united and vigilant. God bless and accompany you all,” said the Deputy Governor.
The boys also received blessings from the priest.
