71-Year-Old Man Stabs 61-Year-Old Neighbor, Victim Dies in Hospital

On June 21 at 16:21, the police of the Ararat region received a report that a 61-year-old man from Kasyan Street in the town of Vedi was transported for medical assistance with injuries to the left side of his chest.

Officers from the Ararat police department and regional patrol units discovered that around 15:55, the injured man and a 71-year-old resident of the same street had an argument about personal issues in the yard of one of the buildings on Kasyan Street, during which the 71-year-old man stabbed his 61-year-old neighbor.

Subsequent actions led to the identification and arrest of the 71-year-old man, who was presented with the documents to the Vedi investigative department.

On the night of June 22, at 2:18, the hospital reported that the 61-year-old man had died.
