Thieves Rob ‘Telsel’ Terminal in Yerevan, Making Off with Large Sum

On June 16, a theft incident occurred in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 7:00 PM, Andranik M., a 52-year-old resident of Syunik province, called the operative control center of the Central Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia to report that at approximately 6:30 PM that day, he noticed that the cash register of the ‘Telsel’ terminal located at 13 Sayat Nova Avenue had been stolen by forcefully opening the door with technical means. The cash register contained 1,200,000 AMD.

Following the incident, documents were prepared by the police's Central Department and forwarded to the Investigation Committee of Armenia’s Yerevan Investigation Division for the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts. According to the website, Andranik M. informed the police that he works as the head of security at ‘Telsel’ LLC.
