Ashot Ghazaryan on Lala Mnatsakanyan
Lala Mnatsakanyan was not only one of the most important elements of "Our Yard," but also one of the significant figures in culture, and with her departure, we lost one of the vibrant colors of the cultural tapestry.
This was stated by actor Ashot Ghazaryan during the memorial service for Lala Mnatsakanyan held in the courtyard of St. John the Baptist Church in Kond.
“Lala was a pure person, an honest person. I never heard her say she had any health problems, she would say, 'something is hurting me,' with a smile on her face, happy. She was one of the best color givers in ‘Our Yard’; she spoke about so many things that were not even in the script, and the screenwriter would come and say, 'What is she talking about?' But she truly spoke well. Lala was a great person, a great Armenian, and she caused us great sorrow. Lala orphaned me and Harant,” he remarked.
