Roberto Baggio's Home Invaded by Armed Robbers in Italy

Italian footballer Roberto Baggio's home was invaded by a gang of five armed robbers while he was watching the Euro 2024 match between Spain and Italy with his family. The player attempted to resist, but one of the assailants struck Baggio in the head with a firearm, causing a deep wound.

Afterward, Baggio and his relatives were locked in a room. The athlete managed to escape only 40 minutes after the robbers left. He was taken to the hospital, where several stitches were placed on his forehead. Fortunately, his family members were unharmed.

The criminals stole watches, jewelry, and cash.
