Cause of Helicopter Crash in Amuri Region Revealed
The main causes of the crash of the Robinson R-66 helicopter are identified as technical malfunction and pilot error. The tragedy resulted in the loss of four lives.
"The causes of the disaster are being investigated, with the primary hypotheses being technical malfunction and pilot error. The weather at the time of the crash was perfect—15°C, clear, and almost no wind," reports the '112' Telegram channel.
The helicopter took off on June 20 during the day, carrying the pilot and three passengers. Communication with the aircraft was lost shortly thereafter. After a night of searching, wreckage of the helicopter was discovered. No one survived the crash. A criminal case has been initiated.
