Bagrat Bishop Discusses Meeting with Suren Petrosyan

Surens Petrosyan's formulation regarding the movement’s de-escalation has been different. This was stated today, June 21, in Kiran by Bagrat Bishop during a conversation with journalists.

“I met with Suren yesterday, and we had a long discussion. Everyone is on edge, feeling emotional about moving towards good, bringing this movement to an end. We are not patient either, am I? Perhaps it also depends on me; I am the primary responsible party, both accountable and guilty,” said the Bishop.

It is noteworthy that the day before, Suren Petrosyan told Tert.am that he would hold a press conference today and answer all questions. “I understand that when the movement is de-escalating or heading towards failure, there is a need for scapegoats and anti-heroes; I realize that everyone is looking for them. Therefore, I will hold a press conference tomorrow and will answer all questions in detail,” said Petrosyan.

However, today he announced that the press conference is postponed.
