Train Collision in Chile Leaves Casualties

On Thursday, two trains collided in the San Bernardo community of Chile, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring nine others, reports Tercera, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.
According to the newspaper, the accident occurred Thursday morning when a passenger train operated by the Chilean EFE company collided with a local Fepasa train carrying over two tons of copper during high-speed testing. As a result of the incident, several carriages of the passenger train traveling from Santiago, the capital of Chile, to the south derailed.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
