New Projects in Arabkir: Large Public Areas, Commercial Complex, and Improved Yards

A new comfortable recreation area will be established on Komitas Boulevard through community-private cooperation, featuring a sports field, amphitheater, and swimming pool with fountains. The newly constructed commercial complex will also host children's IT development and music centers, as well as an underground parking lot. This information was provided by the Yerevan Municipality.

According to the 2024 program, around 10 yard areas in the Arabkir administrative district are being renovated, and a designated area for dog walking has been built. In order to implement these projects, more than 70 garages, illegal constructions, and kiosks have been dismantled. Over 30,000 square meters of yard area have been cleared of land acquisition issues.

After reconstruction, the Merjelyan Park will soon be put into operation as well. Pathways, benches, a playground, a sports field, a fountain complex, and a children's development center will be constructed. The park, which has been overloaded with various kiosks, cafes, and non-functioning carousels for decades, will undergo a complete transformation.
