Russia Does Not Consider Switzerland as a Neutral Party, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
There have been no communications between Russia and Switzerland regarding the summit on the Ukraine issue, nor could there have been. Moscow has long regarded Bern not as a neutral party. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis announced at a press conference that Switzerland will continue its communications with Russia following the conference on Ukraine. According to him, the countries maintain regular communications.
