Current Situation in Armenia: Several Roads Closed
The rescue service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse occurred at the pedestrian area of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, resulting in a suspension of traffic on the bridge.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrum - Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to avoid the M-6 route when heading towards the Georgian border and to use the M-3 Margara - Vanadzor - Tashir - Armenia state border and M-1 Yerevan - Gyumri - Armenia interstate highways.
The M-4 highway, Yerevan - Sevan - Ijevan - Armenia state border, is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan, although traffic is one-way in certain sections. The bridge leading to the villages of Khashtarak and Lusahovit is closed in both directions.
