Azerbaijan Doubles Investments in Turkish Economy

In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan invested 40 million USD in the Turkish economy, which is double the amount compared to the same period last year. This is according to data from Azerbaijan's central bank.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan's share of investments in the Turkish economy increased from 6.7% to 12.1%.

In January-March, Turkey invested 261.4 million USD in the Azerbaijani economy, which is 10.7% less than the previous year's figures. Over the course of a year, the share of Turkish investments in Azerbaijan's economy decreased from 19.3% to 17.3%.
