Video: Russian Flag Torn and Coat of Arms Removed at Victory Park
The newspaper “Iravounk” reports that at Victory Park, specifically near the "Alley of Glory," only the Armenian flag remains among the flags of Armenia and the Russian Federation, which were displayed near the statue dedicated to the Armenian and Russian border guards protecting Armenia's borders.
Citizens have reported that the Russian state flag has been torn by some anti-Russian individuals. Furthermore, behind the statue, where the coats of arms of Armenia and Russia were attached to the border markers, only the emblem of the Republic of Armenia remains, as the Russian coat of arms has been removed.
It should be noted that up to this point, no restoration has been made, nor has anyone taken responsibility for the incident. Moreover, this is not the first occurrence; such incidents have been happening regularly.
We remind you that the area where the statue was erected last year belongs directly to the municipality.
