Turkey Accuses Iran of Supplying Suicide Drones to Kurds
Several Turkish media outlets claim that militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, are using Iranian-made drones. According to the Turkish pro-government media outlet 'Yenisafak', Iran has sent 50 units of the 'Shahed 136' suicide drones to the Sulaymaniyah region in Iraq, where PKK militants are allegedly present.
It has also been reported that these drones have conducted reconnaissance flights in areas where Kurdish forces were targeted during Turkey's 'Operation Euphrates Shield' conducted several years ago in Syria.
