Pashinyan and Erdogan Have Discussed: What Is Known
On June 18, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish president on the occasion of Kurban Bayram, while Erdogan congratulated the Armenian prime minister on the upcoming Vardavar, the Feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.
President Erdogan expressed his condolences to Prime Minister Pashinyan regarding the recent floods that occurred in Armenia's northern regions.
The leaders emphasized their political will for a comprehensive normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey without any preconditions. In this context, they highlighted the importance of the continuity of meetings between special representatives of both countries and reaffirmed the agreements reached to date.
